It is a big News that much awaited Metroid Prime 4: Beyond  game has arrived in the market. It is a cross gen release. It is available on original Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 version features technical enhancements like 4K/60FPS or 1080p/120FPS performance options, much better graphics, improved controls with Joy-Con 2 mouse aiming.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond launched on December 4, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and the newer Nintendo Switch 2, offering staggered unlocks across time zones, with North American players starting slightly earlier on December 3rd, making it a highly anticipated release on both systems. 

 

Beyond moves the action to a new alien world named Planet Viewros, which features larger, more open environments connected by a central desert, Sol Valley. New mechanics include psychic abilities for puzzle-solving and combat, and a vehicle called the Vi-O-La bike for faster traversal of large areas.

 

A lot of people have praised the game as "gorgeous," "highly entertaining," and having some of the best action in the series, with excellent boss battles and intricate world design.

But on the other hand, some of the people was stuck between old and new ideas, criticized "overly aggressive handholding," and found the new open areas and non-player characters (NPCs) to be a mixed bag.
